Additional Deputy Commissioner Finance and Planning Dera Ismail Khan, Adnan Khan, visited the sites of under construction flyover projects to review the pace and quality of the ongoing development work.
He was accompanied by the Assistant Commissioner Dera Ismail Khan and officials from the concerned government departments during the inspection.
The ADC conducted a detailed review of construction activities and directed the relevant authorities to ensure the timely completion of the projects. He said that all necessary measures should be taken to provide improved traffic infrastructure and facilitate the public at the earliest.
Officials from the executing agencies and concerned departments briefed the ADC on the work completed so far, the remaining construction activities and the expected timeline for completion.
Administrative and technical challenges affecting the projects were also reviewed during the visit, particularly the relocation of utility services
Adnan Khan instructed the concerned departments to resolve all pending matters without delay so that construction work could continue without interruption and the flyover projects could be completed within the stipulated timeframe.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced a comprehensive development package worth more than Rs 206 billion for Hazara Division, unveiling 160 development projects under the Khushhal Hazara Programme as part of the Khushhal Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Budget 2026 27.
According to official budget documents, the development initiative will be implemented across all districts of Hazara Division and covers nearly 22 key sectors, making it one of the largest regional development programmes introduced by the provincial government in the current fiscal year.
The package includes a wide range of projects focused on improving road infrastructure, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, irrigation systems, tourism infrastructure, energy projects, urban development, clean drinking water supply, sanitation, and other essential public services. The government believes these investments will significantly improve the quality of life for residents while addressing long-standing infrastructure and service delivery gaps across the region.
Officials said the programme has been designed to stimulate economic activity by creating employment opportunities during both the construction and operational phases of the projects. They added that enhanced infrastructure and improved public services are expected to attract private investment, strengthen tourism, facilitate trade, and support sustainable economic growth throughout Hazara Division.
The provincial government stated that the Khushhal Hazara Programme reflects its commitment to ensuring balanced regional development by allocating substantial resources to underdeveloped and strategically important areas. The initiative aims to reduce regional disparities while accelerating socio-economic progress across the division.
Once implemented, the development projects are expected to strengthen connectivity, improve access to quality healthcare and education, expand basic civic amenities, and enhance the overall development landscape of Hazara Division, contributing to the province's broader vision of inclusive and sustainable growth under the 2026 27 budget.

The Swat District Administration, in coordination with the Swat Development Authority (SDA), has sealed several illegally operated zipline facilities at some of the district's most visited tourist destinations after inspections revealed that the operators were functioning without the mandatory No Objection Certificates (NoCs).
The enforcement action was carried out during a joint inspection campaign across key tourist locations, including Mahodand Lake, Saifullah Lake, Chashma Shafa Aabshar and other recreational sites known for attracting large numbers of domestic and international visitors during the peak tourism season.
According to officials, the inspection teams found that multiple zipline operators had established and were operating adventure tourism facilities without obtaining the legally required approvals from the relevant authorities. The absence of valid NoCs and regulatory clearances prompted officials to immediately seal the installations to prevent further public use.
The district administration stated that the move forms part of a wider initiative to strengthen oversight of adventure tourism activities and ensure that all recreational facilities operating in Swat comply with applicable legal, technical and public safety requirements.
Authorities have instructed the affected operators not to resume operations until they obtain all mandatory permissions and demonstrate full compliance with the prescribed safety, security and operational standards. Officials emphasized that protecting the lives of tourists remains the government's foremost priority and that no commercial adventure activity will be permitted to operate without meeting regulatory requirements.
The administration further noted that inspections of tourism-related facilities will continue across the district to identify unauthorized operations and ensure that adventure tourism develops in a safe, regulated and sustainable manner. Officials warned that strict legal action will be taken against operators found violating government regulations or compromising public safety.
