Shareholders of Faruki Pulp Mills Limited, a subsidiary of JDW Sugar Mills Limited, have formally approved the disposal and sale of the company’s entire project land parcel located in Gujrat, marking a significant step in the company’s asset restructuring and financial strategy. According to the approved resolution, the land earmarked for sale measures approximately 243 kanals and 18 marlas, situated at Mouza Mangowal, Tehsil Kunjah, District Gujrat. The property had previously been acquired for an industrial project; however, the company has now decided to monetise the asset to generate financial resources. Shareholders have granted full authority to the company’s Board of Directors to negotiate with prospective buyers, determine pricing, and finalise the transaction after completing all legal and regulatory requirements. The land may be disposed of either as a single unit or in separate parcels, depending on market demand and investor interest. The board is also authorised to complete all procedural formalities, including registration, transfer of ownership, documentation, and approvals from relevant government departments and land authorities. Proceeds from the sale will be utilised in line with the company’s financial needs and broader business strategy. So far, no sale price or buyer details have been disclosed.
