Deputy Commissioner Kasur Muhammad Asif Raza, along with PD Shahid Zaman Lak, visited ongoing Punjab Development Program (PDP) projects in Pattoki to review progress on development works across multiple locations.

Authorities also assured the timely completion of projects while maintaining construction quality standards.

The Deputy Commissioner directed officials to ensure that land allocated for development is utilized according to approved planning standards and that all projects are completed with transparency, quality, and efficiency.
He further emphasized the importance of effective monitoring to ensure citizens benefit from improved infrastructure and civic facilities at the earliest possible stage.

Revival and reconstruction activities have officially begun at Brothers Sugar Mill in Chunian following its desealing and return to management for operational restoration.
According to sources, after regaining possession of the industrial unit, the owners have decided to restart production activities despite suffering financial losses worth billions. Restoration efforts have now been accelerated to bring the mill back into operation.
As part of the revival process, work has started on renovation, reconstruction, and boundary wall development to restore the industrial facility and improve site infrastructure.
Reports indicate that construction activities began after completion of the required legal and administrative procedures.
This development is being viewed as a positive step for industrial revival, economic activity, and employment generation in the region.
