Some alleged affected investors of Al Kabir Developers have announced plans to raise their voice in an organized manner on social media against delays in development, possession and delivery across various real estate projects. They say they invested their life savings in the hope that plot development, possession and promised facilities would be provided within the committed timeframe. However, according to them, clear progress has yet to be seen in several projects.
In a message issued by the investors, they claimed that old buyers are still waiting for development and delivery, while the company continues to introduce new deals and offers. The affected investors allege that development in some projects is negligible, commitments are not being fulfilled, possession and delivery are facing repeated delays, and investors are not being provided complete and clear information about the current status of the projects.
In the social media message, affected investors have been urged to raise their concerns collectively and in an organized manner rather than filing individual complaints.
They have been advised to share their experiences and grievances through their own social media accounts, post with relevant documents and evidence, tag journalists, influencers and social activists in their areas, and request them to highlight the issue.
The affected investors say the purpose of their campaign is not to promote personal hostility or confrontation, but to protect investors’ rights and ensure transparency and accountability. According to them, if investors remain silent, the issues may continue to drag on. However, by uniting and raising their voice through legal and peaceful means, they believe the media, relevant institutions and authorities can be compelled to take notice of the matter.
The message also states that all affected individuals should unite on a common platform so their collective voice can become stronger. Investors have indicated that if their concerns are not addressed, they may pursue legal action, approach relevant authorities and opt for peaceful protest.
Real estate experts say delays in housing projects, slow development, non delivery of possession and lack of promised facilities are common concerns for investors in Pakistan. In such matters, documentary evidence, payment records, allotment letters, agreements and formal commitments made by a company play an important role in legal proceedings or complaint mechanisms.
On the other hand, before allegations against any developer or company can be treated as final, investigations by relevant institutions, the company’s position and the outcome of legal proceedings remain important.
Al Kabir Developers’ response on the matter is still awaited. The investors say they will continue their legal, peaceful and organized struggle for their rights and have urged the relevant authorities to immediately provide clarity on the current status of projects, development schedules, possession timelines and investors’ concerns.

Lahore is set to receive a new five star plus hotel built to international standards as part of a fresh wave of high end commercial and urban development projects approved by the Central Business District Punjab.
The latest approvals are part of CBD Punjab’s broader strategy to expand premium real estate, strengthen commercial infrastructure and position Lahore as a modern destination for business, tourism and investment.
Among the major approved projects is The Regalia, a luxury residential development planned for the CBD Quaid District. The project will be constructed on a 7.1-kanal plot and is expected to emerge as one of Lahore’s flagship high end residential schemes.
In addition to the residential project, authorities have also planned a large mixed-use complex spread over 41 kanals. The development is aimed at promoting tourism, attracting commercial investment and creating new business opportunities in the provincial capital.
CBD Punjab has also invited bids for new commercial ventures, including the auction of plots for petrol stations in NSIT City. Officials said the proposed sites will not be limited to fuel-related services, as international food chains, retail outlets and other commercial facilities are also planned as part of the wider development concept.
According to the CEO of CBD Punjab, the newly approved projects are expected to support economic activity, attract investment and generate thousands of employment opportunities. Officials believe the developments will further strengthen Lahore’s growing portfolio of premium urban infrastructure.
The latest approvals reflect CBD Punjab’s continued focus on high-value real estate, mixed-use development and modern commercial planning. Authorities say the projects will help enhance Lahore’s urban profile and contribute to the city’s transformation into a more competitive business and tourism hub.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif inaugurated Marka e Haq Square, a key project of the signal-free corridor in Rawalpindi. According to the Punjab government, the project was completed in just 179 days against the scheduled target of 190 days. The completed works include five underpasses, two overhead bridges and a modern pedestrian bridge.
During the inauguration ceremony, Rawalpindi’s Kachehri Chowk was named Marka e Haq Square in connection with the historic day. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif unveiled the project milestone, followed by a prayer ceremony.
The Punjab chief minister also visited the signal-free corridor and inspected the overhead bridge and other roads. She reviewed the signal-free project from Annexy Chowk to GPO Chowk. Provincial Minister for Communications and Works Malik Sohaib Ahmed Bharath briefed the chief minister in detail on various aspects of the project.
Officials said the signal-free corridor, established in one of Rawalpindi’s busiest areas, would facilitate the movement of more than 200,000 vehicles daily. The city’s first state-of-the-art pedestrian bridge has also been constructed at Marka e Haq Square to provide a safe passage for pedestrians.
During the briefing, it was stated that two phases of the signal free corridor from Rawat to the Motorway have been completed, while the third phase will be completed soon. Overall, a 25-kilometre-long signal-free corridor will be developed from Rawat to the Motorway, comprising nine underpasses and three flyovers.
According to the Punjab government, underpasses will also be constructed at Race Course, Charing Cross and AFIC Chowk to reduce traffic pressure in Rawalpindi and provide uninterrupted travel facilities to citizens.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif said the signal free corridor would transform Rawalpindi’s urban culture. She said the government was working rapidly to modernise urban infrastructure and provide citizens with safer, faster and improved travel facilities.
