A significant development has brought relief to the trader community in Pattoki, as demolition orders affecting shops in the Old Grain Market (Gol Market) have been halted.
According to details, MNA Rana Muhammad Hayat Khan, MPA Mahmood Anwar Chaudhry, and Provincial Minister for Education Rana Sikandar Hayat Khan took immediate notice of the traders’ concerns and directed the district administration to stop the demolition of shops.
Earlier, the Deputy Commissioner Kasur had issued orders for vacating the shops, which had caused serious concern among traders. The issue was raised during an open court (Khuli Kachehri) held in Bath Kalan, where traders presented their grievances, prompting swift action from the leadership.
Following the decision, a wave of relief and happiness spread among the trader community, who expressed gratitude to the elected representatives for addressing their concerns.
Traders stated that the decision has safeguarded their businesses and will help maintain economic stability in the area.

On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kasur, Muhammad Asif Raza, patchwork work has commenced on Multan Road in Pattoki. The work is being carried out under the supervision of the Assistant Commissioner Pattoki Nishtar Rehman Lodhi.
According to the administration, the initiative aims to provide better and safer travel facilities to citizens and improve the smooth flow of traffic. Damaged sections of the road are being repaired to ensure safer and more convenient commuting.
