Chaudhry Tauqeer Asif, Director Information of the DHA Estate Agents Association Lahore, has stated that it has come to notice that some unregistered individuals and those involved in fraudulent activities are spreading false news in the market regarding DHA Phase 10 installment files.
These elements are trying to extract money from people and obtain clients’ data under false pretenses, which is both unethical and illegal.
He clarified that the Defence Housing Authority Lahore has not yet made any official announcement regarding installment files for Phase 10.
Whenever there is any development in this regard, it will be formally communicated through DHA’s official platforms and the association, he told to ReNews.
He further urged all members to properly inform their clients about the situation and strictly advise them against trusting unverified information or making payments to unauthorized individuals. Tauqeer Asif emphasized that investors should safeguard their investments and rely only on official sources.

The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Lahore has formally launched a tree plantation campaign in collaboration with the NGO “Bargad.” The inaugural ceremony was held at Qureshi Park, where Managing Director PHA, Raja Mansoor, attended as the chief guest and planted a sapling to mark the beginning of the campaign.
Under this initiative, a target of planting 5,000 saplings has been set. Officials from the NGO and PHA were also present at the event.
Speaking on the occasion, the Director General (DG) PHA said that under Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s Green Punjab vision, PHA Lahore staff are actively engaged in horticulture work across the city’s roads, green belts, and parks.
He added that under Maryam Nawaz’s vision of a beautiful Lahore, the city is transforming into a more attractive and vibrant place.
Thanks to PHA’s efforts, Lahore’s roads have already been adorned with colorful spring flowers, enhancing the city’s overall beauty.

A widow and school teacher has appealed to authorities for a proper investigation after officials from the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) demolished her house in LDA Avenue 1, Lahore, claiming that she had illegally constructed shops on a residential property.
The woman said the house plan had been officially approved and denied for misusing the property for commercial purposes.
She alleged that LDA officials demolished the house without prior notice or proof of any violation.
According to the widow, she purchased the plot in 2002, and the building map for the house was approved by the authorities.
She insisted that the property was used strictly for residential purposes and requested a fair inquiry into the matter.
She said the demolition has left her without a home and urged the authorities to investigate whether the action was justified.
LDA Orders Inquiry Following the incident, the Director General of LDA has ordered a proper investigation into the demolition to determine whether procedures were followed correctly.
Officials say the inquiry will examine the approval documents and the circumstances surrounding the operation.
LDA spokesperson said the house map had been approved, but authorities found shops being constructed on the residential property, which violated planning regulations.
He stated that the illegally constructed shops were demolished during the operation, adding that the action was taken in accordance with regulations
The widow has urged authorities to ensure a transparent and impartial investigation, saying she wants the truth to emerge and justice to be served.
Officials say the inquiry will clarify whether the demolition was lawful or if procedural lapses occurred.
