The Central Business District (CBD) of Punjab has launched a significant initiative aimed at promoting world-class healthcare facilities in the province by offering land for the establishment of a modern hospital in Lahore.
According to officials, a 40-kanal prime plot located in the CBD Bab District on Walton Road has been put up for auction through a sealed bidding process. The initiative is intended to attract private sector investment in the healthcare sector and facilitate the development of a state-of-the-art medical facility equipped with advanced infrastructure and technology.
CBD Punjab stated that the deadline for submission of bidding documents has been set for April 7, 2026, while the sealed bids will be opened on April 9, 2026.
The reserve price for the 40-kanal plot has been fixed at Rs150 million per kanal, reflecting the high commercial value and strategic location of the site. To encourage investor participation, authorities have also introduced a five-year easy installment payment plan, providing financial flexibility for potential buyers.
Officials noted that the project is expected to strengthen Lahore’s healthcare infrastructure and support the development of modern medical services in the city. The initiative also aims to create new opportunities for investment while improving access to high-quality healthcare facilities for residents of Lahore and surrounding areas.

Street rehabilitation and reconstruction works were inaugurated in Madina Colony of NA-130 as part of ongoing development initiatives being implemented under the supervision of Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Vice Chairman Mian Marghoob Ahmed.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Mian Marghoob Ahmed and Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Punjab, Rashid Nasrullah, who formally launched the rehabilitation project aimed at improving local infrastructure and civic facilities in the area.
Speaking on the occasion, the LDA vice chairman said that reconstruction and rehabilitation of six streets in Madina Colony had been completed. The project includes the repair of damaged roads and the improvement of local street infrastructure to facilitate residents and enhance neighborhood accessibility.
He added that development activities in NA-130 are progressing at a fast pace, with several projects underway to address long-standing civic issues and upgrade basic urban facilities.
Residents of the area welcomed the completion of the street rehabilitation works and appreciated the efforts of the authorities to improve local infrastructure and living conditions.
